Music scholar Alex Lubet will be our guest.  Lubet is the author of Music, Disability, and Society (Temple University, 2011).
Topics include his concept of social confluence, and his analysis of both jazz musicians with disabilities and a
symphonic orchestra made up of blind women in Cairo, Egypt.

Lubet’s book is a ground-breaking look at music from a
disability studies’ lens.
