Yep, as far as we know, this is the first time ever KPFA has presented a disability prom celebration—perhaps a first in the entire bay area.
And to make it work, listeners called us up and nominated the person they wanted to see as Disability Prom King, Queen, and Dragon.
Everyone who was nominated won…..of course.  Hear about some famous folks and some of the ordinary folks who keep our community running.
